Forest House, Skrejš

Familly house on site with a unique natural character, with the pine trees throughout the site. The site is on a slope turned south into the valley of the river Rakovec. The house is placed on a slope to create maximum outdoor living space.

The utility spaces- parking area, a working garden for relaxation and residence - terrace and courtyard. The house consists of ”cover” and the mass of the house. The cover overlaping the house and creates a natural transition between interior and exterior. On the south side there is a terrace, on the northern leeward. It also creates an intimate courtyard cover, directly linked to dwelling terrace. The exterior is an integral part of the house. Forest glade enters into the interior. The cover also protects the wooden mass of the house from rain, wind, sun and unwanted views from the surrounding area.

Air Field Manager’s house

The house is a beautiful site of sports airport near Prague. It stands on the site of the old hangar of the 40th years. It respects its volume and design. To the old mass are added new ones – a garage and a summer terrace. Hangar receive new content – housing. New content is on the exterior of the house reflected by large glass windows. The interior is so connected with nature. Landscape entering into the house.
